Pots In Action

Made with Heart, Shared with Joy

Indigo Hills Pottery is a one-woman studio dedicated to crafting everyday objects that feel good in your hands and look beautiful in your home. I have a lifetime of making, teaching and generally being obsessed with all things pottery. Through my experience I have gained skills that are expressed by my innovative approach to designing and hand building forms that combine wheel throwing and hand building techniques, this style is referred to in pottery vernacular as “altered forms”, as in altered after they are thrown.

My unique pieces continue the tradition of Fine Craft Studio Pottery by providing a limited production with distinction. Each piece you purchase is one of a kind, the variation of the hand built creates individual differences even in a series of items. I encourage this variation as it I feel it gives each piece a personality.
